I am a qualified and experienced counsellor in Torquay and Accredited member of the National Counselling Society. In addition to my private practice, I have experience working with adults for the NHS and with children as a school counsellor. I have specialised training and experience working with people with Parkinson’s Disease and their families and carers. My work is based on an integrative approach with an emphasis on Person Centred theory meaning I believe you are your own best resource. 

Integrative Counselling brings together different elements of specific theories meaning I tailor therapy to my client and not my client to the therapy. I believe that there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations. Each person needs to be considered as a whole and counselling techniques must be tailored to their individual needs and personal circumstances. 

I offer a free 10 minute telephone consultation to give us a chance to discuss your needs and for you to decide whether I am the right counsellor for you.
